Description
A simple yet very effective and functional lamp. The recycled red valve handle turns the lamp on and off. The use of the floor flange gives exceptional versatility. It can be used as a table lamp but also screwed to any wall or ceiling to become a very interesting sconce light. The cable is Italian braided red flex which looks great exposed or hanging down from the light and ties in nicely with the valve handle. With its industrial form this lamp is sure to add a nice accent to any space. The clever design incorporates a dimmer switch which unlocks the true potential of the exposed Edison bulb. It can be dimmed from a low to high setting with ease.
A clever reuse of and old steel floor flange and brass fitting. This beautiful valve lamp has been compressed together by hand into a very simple form using mostly reclaimed and recycled plumbing materials. The metal is hand polished to a natural finish that will age and develop character over time.
This lamp was designed around the exposed Edison bulb and each design was developed to accentuate their beauty. This table lamp will not only lighten up your space with a delicate and ambient tone but will also add a quirky and artistic note.

Care Instructions
All materials used are recycled or salvaged where possible. No lacquer or covering is used. The material is polished to a natural finish by hand and the products are designed to age over time.
Over time metals naturally changes colour. Transforming from a shiney colour to darker browns, then blues and finally greens after a number of years. When exposed to the natural elements metal develops a ‘patina’ which actually protects and preserves the metal underneath.
If you wish to clean the metal, we recommend some very fine wire wool or some P1000 or higher silicone carbide sandpaper both of which can be picked up from your local hardware shop. Please do not clean the brass effect lamp holder as its painted!
